قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ

በል «በተፈልቃቂው ጎህ ጌታ እጠበቃለሁ፡፡

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

«ከፈጠረው ፍጡር ሁሉ ክፋት፡፡

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

«ከሌሊትም ክፋት ባጨለመ ጊዜ፤

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ

«በተቋጠሩ (ክሮች) ላይ ተፊዎች ከኾኑት (ደጋሚ) ሴቶችም ክፋት፡፡

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

«ከምቀኛም ክፋት በተመቀኘ ጊዜ፤ (እጠበቃለሁ በል)፡፡»
