وەرگێڕاوی ئینگلیزی - ناوەندی ڕواد بۆ وەرگێڕان
وەرگێڕاوی ماناکانی قورئانی پیرۆز بۆ زمانی ئینگلیزی، وەرگێڕان: ناوەندی ڕواد بۆ وەرگێڕان بەهاوکاری ( دار الإسلام : إسلام هاوس : IslamHouse.com ).
وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Woe to every backbiter and slanderer,
Woe to every backbiter and slanderer,
ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
who amasses wealth and counts it over and again[1],

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
thinking that his wealth will make him live forever.

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
No indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crushing Fire[2],
[2] i.e., Hellfire, as it crushes and destroys all that is thrown in it.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
and how do you know what the Crushing Fire is?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
It is the kindled Fire of Allah,

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
which reaches the hearts[3].
[3] Penetrating through bodies and reaching the hearts.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
It will be closed down upon them,

فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
locked with towering columns[4].
[4] i.e., columns of fire or columns of iron to which the inmates of Hell are chained.
